The Saudi Ministry of the Interior announced today (Wednesday, November 14, 2017) the expiration of the deadline for those who violate residency, employment and border security regulations to leave the Kingdom on their own and at their own expense. It will begin on Wednesday their joint field campaigns to control the violators.

All security sectors of the Ministry of Interior and with the participation of all government agencies will begin campaigns start on Wednesday (15 November 2017), against the violators of the residence, work regulations, border security of the arrivals, carriers, operators and suppliers, all sanctions will be applied to everyone.

The ministry called on citizens and residents to abide by all regulations and instructions that prohibit dealing with, hiding, sheltering, transporting, operating or providing support to those who violate the residency, employment regime, and border security. The security authorities will apply the penalties stipulated in the law to the maximum extent of these violators (citizens and residents).

The Ministry urged everyone to cooperate with the security agencies, and to participate and report the violators or those who support them by calling 999. In addition, cooperation to achieve the slogan of the campaign (A homeland without a violator).

The Ministry has warned of all violators of the initiative to leave the country without any penalty, and those who did not benefit from the previous deadline will be subject to the penalties prescribed law.

The campaign was carried out in accordance with the Royal Decree approving the plan of the comprehensive national campaign to track and control the violators of the residence, employment and border security system, which began on 28 March 2017 for 90 days. The campaign plan included granting all the violators to leave the Kingdom on their own and at their own expense within 90 days from the date of March 18, 2017.
